By now, you should be thinking about your next move.
Look to your next borders; Are there friendly troops awaiting your arrival, or will your forces need to push through a second enemy line?
It's time to consider some Mid Point Diplomacy.
A few key things to remember when entering the murky waters of Mid-Point Negotiations.
* Don’t make peace with just anyone, be sure you check out their standings.
*If they’re too small, you could absorb them into your empire.*Be sure to check with your current NAPs and Allies, Perhaps they already have a target in mind.
*If they’re too big, perhaps look to their other neighbors for support in a joint-attack or just look elsewhere, lol. *If they’re lower than you in the citadel, perhaps they will join you against others or be your next target.
*If they’re higher than you, perhaps you should engage them to further your placement, especially if they have other enemies keeping them occupied.
*Look at your current NAPs, How are they doing? Might you soon have a new neighbor?
Be sure that you look into this before acquiring new enemies.
All of these things should be taken into consideration prior to new negotiations, Also, if you had a pre-game plan (a pre-determined path, perhaps to a nearby ally) look at how your goals may have shifted in the war-torn lands around you.
