I started playing this game in april of 2001, I just got my 1st PC & was wondering what the heck to do with it, I looked on the net & done a search for startegy war games & up came Evernight, been here ever since.
In RL, I had been in a war gaming club for years playing all sorts of miniture warfare, D & D, & so many & varied startegy games that I could go on naming them forever.

Initially, I was called wrymmlore, this was mainly coz I was in a hurry to sign up & was to dam lazy to look up the correct spelling, eventually when Max & Dranden took over the place, I changed it to the correct spelling that it is today.

I was very lucky & won my 1st evernight game with 515 regions, it had innactives, Maccers & no coaches, we had no idea what we were doing & in hindsight, I probably done a few things that I came to find as dodgey as time went on, but what the heck, the community was great & as soon as I walked into Nergals Tavern & met Sharkbitefischer & the Balrog, I was hooked.
I've won 10 games now, about two a year which isn't bad coz it's dam hard to win a game, I loved blitzes & have played in nearly everyone they ever had, my best win was in an ELIM blitz where I gathered a gang of roughnecks about me & we beat the crap outta Maximus prime, Katpurz was ahead of me & sparrow killed her on the last tick of the game for me to win, it was probably the most exciting win I've had here.

I became head coach when Brahm Tazoul who had pioneered the coaching idea became to busy with RL to continue, I was wearing down at the time & was thinking of giving it all away but the opportunity to really help the new guy gave me a new sense of purpose & while I don't play as many games as I used to, my dedication to evernight is stronger than it has ever been & I'll probably die in front of my PC while planning some evil move against Max, lol

I love the community spirit of the game, I have made so many good friends here from all over the world & I feel that this support network is what sets EN above the average war game, I've looked all over & nothing comes close to Evernight as far as turn based strategy goes, it's the best game out there & it's been around for some time now.

Lord Foul was my mentor & I think if he was around today he'd be proud of what I've achieved, I have always tried to be like him, to have others hear my name & know they're in for one hell of a fight.

My Credo would be: Communication is everything.
