What is Evernight & how does it work?

Evernight is a game that pits you against hundreds of other players in a quest to control the world.
The world is filled with a vast number of conquerable regions.
As a new player, you begin with a single region, but by deploying your forces and launching attacks on other regions and players, your empire can grow larger and larger.
The objective is to control as many regions as possible at the end of the game, and to crush or coerce anyone that stands in your way.

Evernight is a turn-based strategy game.
Instead of testing your fast-twitch reflexes, it demands intense strategies, long-range planning and shrewd diplomacy with other players.
Every day, Evernight players access the game through their web browser to see the state of their empire, communicate with other players, and give orders to their regions, lessers and forms.
Then, at a set time each day, the game shuts down or "ticks" for a short period.
During this period, lessers and forms are created, units are moved, spells are cast, and battles fought.

Every region you take brings in a treasure income per tick that you own it, a plain = 7T per tick for instance.(full list below)
by expanding & taking as many regions as you can, you increase your income which then allows you to order more troops & build structures etc as you (hopefully) continue to expand.
Plain region = 7T per tick
Dune region = 5T
Swamp region = 4T
Forest region = 2T
Mountain & lake regions = 1T

Fury is the life blood of Evernight: with Fury, spells are cast & magic creatures summoned to your side, so, how do I get Fury?
each time you kill an enemy unit, you gain 1 fury, kill 10 enemy troops & you get 10 fury.
As you take regions & order more troops, obviously your troop numbers increase & kill more & more enemy lessers which brings in more & more Fury.

Some players will farm troops off, this is called "Fury farming"
Basically, two players build forts side by side & then send predetermined numbers of troops at each other, the ensuing border battle, produces fury for both sides.
